Summary: Beautiful old mansion house converted to a lovely hotel. It was very quiet when we were there with just 1 or 2 other guests, but they looked after us well. Rooms newly redecorated (we loved the Galápagos room with undersea mural and in room clawfoot bath. Walkable to old town (15 minutes) and basilica (5 minutes) but not at night. On edge of nice small park Almeda. Breakfast fabulous with local hot dish choices as well as continental. Dinner was good with good choices presented nicely although one was not too well cooked. Empanadas amazing!
